Meet Armand and Jennifer, they traveled all the way from Nashville and believe it or not after coming out to beautiful Southern California, it rained! They wanted a beach shoot and they were going to get one, so we headed out to the Santa Monica Pier, we shot under the pier to make the best of things. And just like it was scripted, right before we were ready to leave the sun came out and provided the set for even more amazing images.

I am so grateful that (Hops) took time out of his busy touring schedule to squeeze in this fun filled shoot. They were so much fun, and so easy going that creating these spirited and intimate images was a breeze. I really wished I could have shot them all day!

Whats not to love - chandeliers hanging over the streets, a Vegas style water show, art deco door ways, and the whole place to ourselves, I am talking about the Americana at Brand in Glendale. Understated elegance made for the perfect setting for a delightful family.

Even though it was very early in the morning Perry (the birthday boy) was ready to go. Hes custom made Etsy shop bow tie had “cute” written all over it. These guys stepped out of a jcrew catalog and the images turned out amazing.

The fourth of July hold some of my fondest family memories, and when I thought about it my top four favorite things about the forth lined up like poetry; Food, Friends, Family , and Fireworks pretty cool huh?! Now lets put this whole thing together, say this four times fast: My Favorite things about the fourth are Food, Friends, Family and Fireworks.

I believe that its days and times like this that create the pictures that I take. Its the time and connections made at these events that spawn the smiles, admiration and love that is so clear as my camera captures those same emotions when you are next to the ones you love. So soak this time up be yourself let go, really enjoy the ones you love.
