What an amazing love these two share - Brent and the new Janet Hart beamed all day long and they left me breathless. These two need to write a book about power of love - it was so strong between them that it was hard not to to feel it.

A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to do my first wine country wedding with my good friend Joanne. I really was in the middle of severl projects and getting ready to leave on vacation but how do you say no to a friend that has been there and saved me on several occasions - besides Ian and Jen were just too cute. These two love birds meet back in high school and have been through a lot together. When Jo told me that 6 years ago Jen also battled Hodgkin’s Lymphoma - I just knew I had to be there to help capture this moment for them. Jo it was a please to second shoot with you - thanks for sharing. 
Well anyways, after 3 hours of sleep last night I woke up bright and early to head down to the Balboa Pier to photograph the newly married couple, Jay and Shanna Avila. These two lovebirds are so cute and wonderful together , it really makes you believe in love. I was so excited when Jay and Shanna decided to jump on the band wagon of the hottest new trend in wedding photography - Trash the Dress (aka Day After Shoot). I really think I could shoot these two till they both drop dead - sorry Jay, I know we came pretty close today. Let me first start by saying I just love my job! Being paid to go on a mini vacation and photograph at such a beautiful location - it could not get much better than this.
Carol is my husband’s cousin and asked if I would photograph her wedding in Cancun Mexico - how could I say no. It was great to be around family and to witness how happy Charles make Carol. I arrived at the Grand Oasis Cancun Thursday afternoon and began shooting that evening - there was a lot to capture. On Friday the wedding took place on a deck overlooking the breathtaking beach. I believe that Carol had a chance to live every little girl’s dream by being the center of attention as even strangers stopped to take pictures and congratulate her.
The scene was absolutely beautiful and the location was bursting with rich colors of blues, greens, reds, yellows - just amazing but the company of friends and family was even better. Here’s to the both of you, may your life together be filled with more love and joy with each passing day and may the happiness you felt on your wedding day never become a faint memory. Congrats!
This past weekend my cousin Carel married the love of her life, Ray. Let me tell you, I could no t be any happier for her - she has really caught a good one in Ray. Everyone deserves to find and marry the love of their life and I truly believe that this is a match made in heaven. Casa 425 was their perfect place for them to be introduced and presented the perfect atmosphere some incredible romantic pictures. The wedding took place Padua Hills where the food was to die for while Carol’s Secret Garden took care of all the beautiful flowers. Thanks guys for throwing such a spectacular wedding.
