Last week Lisa Kanouse the designer and owner of Saurette had a featured Trunk Show at Pumkinheads in Brentwood. I was honored to photograph the event for Lisa and get a sneak peek at her Fall 2009 collection - and it is amazing. If you have not heard of Saurette, please take sometime and check it out. I love Lisa’s vision for little girl’s clothing that is sophisticated but still wearable and fun - too bad I have no little girls.
I really love Facebook. I reunited with Jeanette through Facebook a few months ago and after seeing some of my photos, called a booked a session for her little princess. Who would have known that after nursing school I would find myself behind the camera shooting instead of at the end of a needle giving shots?
I had the pleasure of photographing Rob and Alexis’ wedding as a second shooter with my good friend Joanne Distaso. It is always great to see two people that are deeply in love affirm their love though marriage. The beautiful and historic Mission Inn was the back drop for their wedding day nuptials - and it was an absolute beautiful day.
