She Will Probably Kill Me!

One of my favorite people is my younger sister Natrice. To say that we are almost the exact opposite of each other is an understatement - but I still love her just the same. For starters, she is tall and I am short, she is thin and…well I’m not, I am married and she is not.

Can you believe that she is still single? Well she is. Although this is not a dating service, it is my blog and I can do whatever I want - so here it goes. If you are interested drop me a line. I have a strong suspicion that she will want to kill me when she reads this, but I figure that you never know where or when love will find you. Who knows maybe she will thank me later- ha. Just to play it safe I think I will ignore her calls for the next few days.

Breakfast At Mama’s

While on vacation we made a stop in San Francisco for a few days.  After asking a few locals were the best place was to have breakfast in town, it was official - we were going to Mama’s.

After a lazy morning, we headed out to Mama’s - what the locals forgot to tell us was that all of San Francisco loves Mama’s also.  We arrived at 10:30 A.M. to a line that was a block long, but those in line told us it would be worth the wait - so we waited and waited.  About 1 p.m. we were finally seated for a breakfast of a life time - YUM!  If you every visit the San Francisco area, you’ve got to check out this little hot spot - and don’t forget to try their alalaberry jam ( or at least that is what they told me it was - I stilled can’t find a berry by that name).

Here are a few picks of my kids being crazing while waiting for breakfast:

Two More Cuties

I felt so badly,  since I had been out of town so long, I had to rush and schedule a photo shoot for Kissui’s September Customer of the Month.  I had a wonderful getting to know Jeane and her two kids - and just to show that there really is six degrees of separation, we found out that we know several of the same people (who knew?).

Anyways, here is a few images that I pulled and edited quickly for you.  No, I did not choose any of the traditional look here at the camera photo, I wanted folks to see that there is much more to a good photo than having every eyes on the camera.

Teacher’s Pet

Last year Jet had the most amazing teacher and I could not have been any happier with her.  Mrs Calixto, we really love you over here - thanks for all your hard work.

Not only is Mrs Calixto a great teacher, she is a fantastic mom and I was able to see that first hand when I photographed her two beautiful little girls.

There was a little bit of sass, a heap of fun, a pinch of laughter and a whole lot of love - all the makings of the perfect photo shoot.  I really love it when kids let loose and have fun and I believe that these two were on cloud nine that day.  Thanks so much for putting up with me and all my crazy ideas. See you around school.

Little Family…Big Fun

It’s always a good thing when you are able to catch up with old friends.  Kim and I graduated with the class of 1990 from SPA (yeah almost 2 decades ago) and had not seen each other in over 15 years.  Kim found my blog a few months back and was very excited to have me photograph her two little princesses.

This was a good example that great photos can happen anywhere.  We actually pulled off the side of the road when I spotted an orchard of pears that I felt had the right amount of charm.

I hope that the girls had as much fun as I did and that next time we will have to shoot the family.
