It Feels Good…
It really does feel good when you give. A few weeks ago I received a call from one of my clients that own a group home for little girls, she asked if I would be available to photograph a tea party for the girls. She went on to tell me what a special occasion this was not be because the historic Mission Inn had decided to put on the tea for them, but that the tea party was to celebrate the girls accomplishments over the last year. That is all I need to know… I told her I was so there and that I would only do it if I could do it as a gift to the girls - she agreed. The girls all arrived in high fashion - the were paraded through the streets of downtown Riverside in vintage cars and came dressed in their best attire (hat, gloves and all). The banquet room was decorated nicely and the girls were all excited to see their goodie bags and all the candy they had received. Each girl had their time to shine and sassed it up for the cameras. At one point of of the girls realized that we were at a hotel and she kept screaming to the others “I can’t believe that we are at a hotel - I mean this is an actual HOTEL! …it is funny the things we all take for granted.A special thanks to Rowena Curtis for helping me photograph these fine ladies on Monday. After we did our cat walk down the halls of the Mission Inn it was time for the girls to go - I don’t think things will ever be the same there. The experience left a tear in my eyes but a smile on my face along with a heart full of gratitude.

Customer of the Month - June
Yesterday I met with Joanne and her beautiful daughter “little M”. I found out from Kissui last week that she was going to be the new customer of the month and Joanne was real excited to get the news. We had a real short shoot - about 10 min in the alley by Kissui. Yes 10 min, but that is all it took to get some amazing photos this little beauty.

Friends
On Sunday I also photographed Nilmini and DeeJay -two of Tania’s friends. DeeJay is getting ready to graduate from La Sierra University with a degree in something so fancy I can’t remember what it is (sorry DeeJay). Nilmini was fierce and kept the two others laughing.
