What Is It?
So I know that you all are out there looking but only a small persentage of you are leaving me some love (in the form of a comment/message) - what’s up with that? Well, I will be starting to run a few small contest frequantly in the hopes that you all will become active participants on my blog. The first person who can correctly identify the item object below will win a $20 iTunes gift card and will own the bragging rights to being the first “What Is It” contest winner.

Kim good guess - but no it is not the top of an ice cream maker.
Nicole - thanks for checking me out - you maybe surprised how easy this is you probably come across this once or twice a week.
Gina, all I am going to say is that this should be an easy one for you.
Natrice - give me a break, I need to disqualify family form these contest.

Maybe a gas tank cover, or lid on a old car

I’m a friend of Kim’s. I have permission to guess ;-). It kinda looks to me like an upside-down picture of the front of a bullfrog.

Oooh, I have another guess! (Can we guess more than once? LOL)
Is it the turn-knob on a gumball machine?
on 20th March 2008 at 14:50
Next guess, an electric can opener?
on 20th March 2008 at 19:54
Could it be a rain drop or water drop of some sort on the ground or grass?…Trying to think abstract here…

Guys those were all good guesses. Nicole actually got it right - it was the cover of the gas tank on that old car that I used in some of the children’s photos. Nicole drop me a line and I will get your information so I can send you your gift card 951.367.7549.
